This is the Temple of Lord Aathinath.It is
historically most ancient and most important
temple in tamilnadu.Architecture of this
temple briefly predicates about the
Intelligency of indians in the field of
Architecture.This temple is located around a
Natural Surroundings .Lord Aathinaath is
called as a "DHEEPANAAYAGASWAAMY".
For this reason this village is named as
"DHEEBANGUDI". Sons of SriRamar "Lavan and Kusan"
worshipped this statue of Aathinath. then you
just guess how old it is?
Great Tamil Poet "jayamkondaar" (he is jain
tamil poet)who describe about the effects and
defects of war through his tamil poem"KalingattuBarani"
He born in this village and wrote many poems in
tamil.
Great Chola Emperor "RAJARAJACHOLAN"
sister "kundavai" worshipped this temple and
donate to this temple.
this temple is under the control of tamilnadu goverment
now it is damaged and it is recovered with the
help of deepangudi jains and other jains allover
tamilnadu.
Now the working process is going on for "mahakumbaabishegam"
Debangudi jains formed a trust and collecting donations
for this powerful temple.

It is also one of the powerful jain temple in tamilnadu.
it is located in Elangaadu village(tamilnadu).
main god of this temple is LORD ADTHINATH.
There is one story about this temple,"first this
idols of Neminath and Tharmadevi are templed in
Mylappore(chennai) during "The Last tamil sangam"
At the time DharmaDevi warned the people indirectly
that this city was going to get attacked by the
natural disaster.Then the jains who lived in the
Mylappore transported the idols from the
mylappore to Elancadu and the pair of the
Yatchi DharmaDevi idol yatchan Sarvaanan idol is
accidently transported into SaravanaBeligula(karnataka).
the idol is still there.transported idols of dharmaDevi and
LordNeminath was get worshipped by the peoples in this
ElancaduVillage and other in the surroundings.
this temple is created by Vikramashamvath in 720
who is the follower of the great Jain Munivar
"Jinasenaccharrya".Delhi was Ruled by the King
AmogaVarshan.During his ruling period he created it.
Devotees of jains make a regular pooja for this temple
and a special pooja in every "Friday".
This temple is consider to be very powerful because
YatchiDharmaDevi is one of the powerful Goddess in
jainism.
This temple is damged and the building are want to be
reconstructed.Jains in the Elancadu and other jains
in the tamilnadu donate to this temple and make a
construction work for "mahaKumbaabishegam"
Elancadu jain formed a trust "Sri NemiNath Bhagavaan
Temple trust" and donations were collected in the name of
this trust.
